Frequently
Asked
Questions

What’s the appeal of the club?

You meet and make lots of new friends who live in the community who share some of the same interests as you do.  Making friends and networking with others results in opportunities to find golfing partners, go on cruises and vacations together, join additional clubs, go dancing at the town squares, and lots of other fun things!

What are some of the activities?

Monthly activities vary to include dances, dinner-dances, shows and concerts, group games, pot-luck meals, and outings such as cruises with other clubs.  We also have a 12-month golf group for Baby Boomers members who live in The Villages year-round. Most activities are for “members-only” and attendees must have a ticket to attend.

How strict are the club’s age requirements?

The Baby Boomer generation are people born between 1946-1964. For our club, at least one member of a couple must have a Baby Boomer birthdate.  Single or individual members must meet the age requirements.  Credentials are verified before people become members. Our membership is mostly couples (about 95%), but we welcome single members also.

Is there more to the club than representing the same age group?

Our main purpose is to interact with others, enjoy the camaraderie, and have fun. Networking, making new friends, finding info on new activities, clubs, restaurants are just some of the results of joining our club!

How do you join the Baby Boomers Club?

Membership is usually open to new members during the first two weeks of November.  Villages residents listed on the club waiting list have priority in joining.  To join the waiting list, click on the link below:
